Competing in a national competition is terrifying, but when you have a strong group, it feels almost easy. A small group of students in my program from my school competed in the Student Television Network Crazy 8 Documentary competition in Long Beach, California this past March. We had 8 hours to write, direct, film, and edit a short documentary based off a prompt they gave us; Jack of All Trades. I'm so proud of our team for what we accomplished, beating out 100s of students for second place.
Ellie Cardelle's journey into the world of media production began at FirebirdTV, where she honed her craft by producing daily shows and crafting engaging content. It was here that she realized her passion for storytelling through the lens of a camera. Not content with just working in a traditional TV production role, Ellie went on to found the Scoreboard Society, a creative collective that partnered with school sports teams to produce dynamic hype videos, film games, and organize media days. Her innovative approach to sports videography quickly garnered attention, leading to national recognition and numerous awards in the film and broadcast industry. Ellie's dedication to her craft and commitment to excellence are evident in every project she takes on. Her meticulous attention to detail, combined with her creative vision, sets her apart as a true master of her craft.
